How to get to Ryad Esmeralda ?
Simply call a "small" taxi (petit taxi) that will take you there: Just say to the driver: “To the tomb of Sidi Benslimane”. You will then have to walk for 5 minutes through a maze of derbs (alleys). This walk will cause a real culture shock as you enter a different world that will appear infinitely complex, but colourful and fascinating.
How shall I find my way around?
This will be your first question. In fact, "there is no problem" as Moroccans will say and it is true that all problems are solved with the help of kind people if you show patience. You just forget time exists, the moment you leave your plane or car.
When you get to the district of Sidi Benslimane you will meet scores of children who will tell you where Ryad Esméralda is located, even in the evening or at night. At the end of this picturesque stroll, Ryad Esmeralda will deliver its mysteries : you will penetrate into a haven of peace, a harmonious universe which is hard to imagine in such surroundings.
The five suites and rooms open onto an Andalusian patio full of greenery and water, where the smell of jasmine, roses and lime mingle with the spicy fragrances wafting from the kitchen.
You may order a meal if you are hungry.
The terraces will enchant you with a view of the medina, the Atlas and the palmtrees.
The helpful and devoted staff in Ryad Esmeralda will be ready to assist you to make your stay pleasant both within the ryad (meals on the spot, steam baths and massages) and outside where they will show you around the medina and help you plan your walks and outings to visit the great sites in and around Marrakech. The 3 suites and the 2 rooms have a private bathroom. The suites also have a living room with a fireplace.
The swimming -pool is a cool haven in summer months.

On the ground floor, the freshest of the suite-rooms on the level with the patio: The walls are painted with natural lime ochre color and emphasized by red fabrics of the curtains and the cover of the bed and ochres of the armchairs. The bathroom is in white tadelakt patinated of red including a bath-tub and a copper wash-hand basin.It consists of a room with a double bed and a closet adjacent to the bathroom and a salon contiguous with a single bed doing bench, a fireplace, a table and a hairdresser.

On the first floor, the most emerald of all the suite-rooms: The ceiling in green cased beams alternates its emeralds with ochres of fabrics of the settee, the top of bed and the walls in tadelakt. The bathroom is in white tadelakt for the walls and the basin of the shower and its "petals". The ground is in zéliges of Fez green and white. Air-conditioned.It consists of a room with a double bed and a closet adjacent to the bathroom and a salon contiguous with a single bed doing bench, a fireplace, a table and a hairdresser.

On the second floor, most luminous suites: A frieze inherited from the former ryad decorate the entire room. The sofa and bed covers are "green esméralda" and the tadelakt ocher walls.
