Jardin Majorelle

A magnificent garden inspiring freshness and relaxation, away from the city's uproar!
In 1919, the French painter Jacques Majorelle settled in Marrakech where he acquires a ground which was going to become the famous the Majorelle Garden. After his death, Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent repurchase the garden and the restaurant and restore them.
With a unique beauty embellished with the “Majorelle blue” and plants from five continents, fountains, palm trees..., the garden offers freshness and calmness to its visitors. It encloses the Museum of Islamic Art where are exhibited the personal collections of Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent.
The garden is open in winter from Tuesday to Sunday, from 09:00 am to 12:00 and 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm and in summer (except August) from 09:00 am to 12:00 and 03:00 pm to 07:00 pm.
