Palais El Badi

A place recalling a last magnificence
Built by the Saadian ruler Ahmed El Mansour in the 16th century, the Badi Palace (incomparable palace) was the symbol of his victory in the three kings' battle.
The Palace enclosed huge private apartments and a big court decorated with basins. An agreeable architecture and luxurious materials.
Destroyed by the Alaoui ruler Moulay Ismaïl, the Palace loosed a large part of its architectural beauty. Currently, only an immense esplanade dig of basins remains but it is always interesting to visit it.

Open everyday from 8:45 am to 12:45 am and from 02:30 pm to 06:30 pm. Entry for 10 dhs (Palace) and 20 dhs (Palace + minbar).
